Child Safeguarding Policy

Thailand Hilltribe Holidays is committed to protecting the safety of all children when conducting its tours. We ask all visitors and participants of our tours to abide by the following code of conduct:

• If a visitor wants to take pictures of children, they should seek permission from the child’s parent/guardian first. The tour guide can assist with this.
• If a visitor wants to post pictures of children online they should seek permission from the child’s parent/guardian first. Thailand Hilltribe Holidays can assist in this process (contact info@thailandhilltribeholidays.com)
• Visitors should not give payment in cash to any local children.
• If a child does not wish to engage in communication or interaction with an adult, this should be respected.
• Visitors should respect a child’s rights or request for privacy.
• Activities with children will be in a group setting rather than on an individual basis.
• If visitors are unsure or have questions over what conduct is appropriate, they should ask their tour guide to advise.
