Mae Sariang is in Mae Hong Son province, north west Thailand. It is approx 190km (4hrs drive) south west of Chiang Mai, and 120km (3hrs drive) south of Mae Hong Son town

By Bus
From Chiang Mai:
We recommend the local minivan service which departs daily at 1.5hr intervals from Chiang Mai Arcade bus station.
Journey time is approx 4hrs. Tickets 200bt
Air-con public buses also depart twice daily from Chiang Mai Arcade bus station at 11.00hrs and 21.00hrs
Approx 5 hrs journey time. Tickets 170bt

From Mae Hong Son:
Air-con public buses depart daily from Mae Hong Son bus station at 10.30hrs and 21.00hrs
Approx 4 hours journey time
From Bangkok:
Take the overnight bus from Bangkok's Northern Bus Terminal (Mochit) to Mae Hong Son which stops off at Mae Sariang. Approx 12 hrs journey time. Air con (VIP) buses depart 15.00hrs and 18.00hrs.

From Chiang Mai: Take Highway 108 to Mae Hong Son via Hod, approx 190km (4hrs)
From Mae Hong Son: Take Highway 108 south to Mae Sariang via Khun Yuam, approx 120km (3hrs)
